1. (1) Baker County (5-0-1, Class 4A)

Quality wins: Columbia, Hilliard, Keystone Heights (twice).

Notable: The Wildcats have stayed unbeaten through the carnage of the regular season that has seen just about every Super 6 team take it on the chin. The schedule has been lean but it picks up in a big way the next week and a half. They’ve got West Nassau (Thursday) and Fort White (Friday) to round out the week. Baleigh Shields (.524, 2 HR), Nasia Green (.500) and Chloe Johnson (.500) are leading the Baker County regulars.

2. (NR) Atlantic Coast (6-1, Class 7A)

Quality wins: Baldwin, Bishop Kenny, Creekside, Fletcher.

Notable: The Stingrays charged up out of nowhere to rip off six consecutive wins, including a pair of Super 6 Ws since our last rankings. Atlantic Coast outslugged Baldwin (15-11) and then held off Creekside (4-2) since our last Super 6. They face Tocoi Creek (Thursday) and Episcopal (Friday) to round out the week. Freshmen Skye Deans, Lily Maguire and Stella Lynton are hitting .409 or better. Sophomore Morgan Brown is hitting .421. Great start for the Stingrays.

3. (4) Middleburg (5-3, Class 5A)

Quality wins: Baldwin, Cornerstone Charter, Episcopal, Trinity Catholic, West Nassau.

Notable: A 7-1 loss to East Lake was followed up by wins over Episcopal (11-0), Cornerstone Charter (11-2) and West Nassau (7-6). Up next are Oakleaf (Thursday) and Providence (Friday).

4. (NR) Ponte Vedra (5-0, Class 5A)

Quality wins: Beachside, Fletcher, Menendez.

Notable: Great start for the Sharks, whose top win is a 5-2 W over previously unbeaten Beachside. Not a ton of meat on the scheduling bone thus far, but upcoming games against Paxon, Bishop Kenny and Creekside will bolster that resume. Aoife Weaver (.529, HR) and Alaina Daughtry (.500, HR) are leading the Sharks.

5. (5) Baldwin (5-3, Class 2A)

Quality wins: Hilliard, Mandarin, Paxon, Trinity Catholic.

Notable: The Indians went 2-1 since our last Super 6, belting Mandarin (13-3) and Paxon (7-3), and losing to Atlantic Coast in a 15-11 slugfest. It’s been an uneven start for the Indians compared to the last three seasons, but the lineup is still plenty powerful. Kendall North (.609), Makaila Fry (.438) and Jazmine Ramos-Merced (.423, 2 HR) are leading the way for Baldwin.

6. (NR) Fort White (6-1, Rural)

Quality win: Branford, Columbia, Santa Fe, Williston

Notable: The Indians have won six straight and avenged their only loss against Columbia. They’ve got a clash against No. 1 Baker County on Friday. Kadence Compton (.471) and Khloe Kirby (.421) are leading Fort White at the plate. Compton is also dealing in the circle (4-1, 0.39 ERA, 16 Ks).
