1. (1) Clay (5-0, Class 2A)

Quality win: Dunnellon.

Notable: The Blue Devils roll into spring break unbeaten and unchallenged. They added blowouts of Orange Park (27-0) and Gainesville (47-0) since our last Super 6. I even contemplated moving Clay down a spot because the schedule has been woefully lean. The Blue Devils’ competition includes three winless teams and a combined 4-20 record among their five wins. We won’t know how good Clay is until its last two regular season games against Florida Deaf and Fleming Island.

2. (2) Bradford (6-0, Class 1A)

Quality win: Columbia, Florida Deaf, Suwannee.

Notable: The Tornadoes topped a solid Florida Deaf (22-7) and Eagle’s View since our last Super 6. They have Columbia on Thursday before spring break.

3. (T6) Ponte Vedra (8-1, Class 3A)

Quality wins: Davenport, Destin, Fletcher, Sandalwood, Wakulla.

Notable: The first-year Sharks have won seven straight games entering Wednesday’s clash with Tocoi Creek. Ponte Vedra upended Fletcher (19-12) since our last Super 6, as well as huge wins over Wakulla, Davenport and Destin. The Sharks’ schedule quality is better than any other team in the Super 6.

4. (3) Fleming Island (5-1, Class 3A)

Quality win: Baldwin, Mandarin

Notable: The young Golden Eagles beat Ridgeview (6-0), Middleburg (14-13) and Mandarin (12-7) since our last Super 6, with a big game Tuesday night against Paxon.

5. (4) White (4-1, Class 2A)

Quality win: Baldwin.

Notable: The Commanders thumped Baldwin (25-0) in their lone game since our last Super 6. They’ve got Raines on Thursday before spring break.

6. (T6) Fletcher (5-2, Class 3A)

Quality wins: Paxon, Sandalwood.

Notable: The Senators have gotten back on track, with a big win over Paxon (25-13) and a loss to Ponte Vedra since our last Super 6. Raines on Wednesday night is the final game before spring break.
